Ed is an Alumni of Leadership Corpus Christi and serves on the boards of the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce, The Corpus Christi Convention and Visitors Bureau, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Athletic Foundation, Builders Association Corpus Christi Area, The Greater Corpus Christi Hospitality Association, Leadership Corpus Christi Alumni Association, and is the President of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi National Alumni Association. He is also an active member of the Corpus Christi Association of Realtors were he serves on the Public Relations and Governmental Affairs Committees.
